ANBI-Status
The Stichting CHARLES BOONZAAIJER FOUNDATION has been established on the 03-10-2022 by the late Karel Harm (Charles) Boonzaaijer to maintain and protect his home, the national monument Vossiusstraat 15 in Amsterdam after his death. The Foundation is the heir of the monument and its classical interiors and collection of art as well as most of the remaining estate of the late Charles Boonzaaijer as soon as an cultural ANBI is granted. The application for an ANBI-status has been made in January 2023.

Statutory Objective:
The foundation hat set itself the non-profit objective of preserving the listed building Vossiusstraat 15 in Amsterdam in its original 19th century structure, its interiors and furthermore support the arts alongside the status of the foundation. It tries to achieve this goal among other things by rental income from the premises at Vossiusstraat 15 especially profiting from the existing permission to use the house as a hotel, renting out rooms for cultural institutions donations, wills

Policy Plan (Beleidsplan)
The Charles Boonzaaijer Foundation has drawn up a multi-year policy plan for the period 2022-2024 on the precondition that the ANBI-status will be granted. As the foundation has at the moment no own capital and only receives the inheritance from the late Karel Harm (Charles) Boonzaaijer if the ANBI-status is granted, a financial plan, annual reports and overviews will be provided from that moment on.
Publication Oblligation (Publicatiepflicht)
As soon as the ANBI-status will be granted the Charles Boonyzaaijer foundation will fulfill the publication obligations of a standard form ANBI. In this form we will provide, among other things, an overview of the board members and the annual figures. We will provide this form as a download together with the policy plan, an annual overview an the annual report.
Due to the precondition of the benefactor, Charles Boonzaaijer, the foundation is the heir of his estate on the condition that an
ANBI-status is granted, we expect the first full year report for the calendar year 2023.
